About the Role
You will develop software for mechatronic test benches and coordinate their design, construction, and commissioning. You will acquire and analyze test data, evaluate results, develop calibration procedures, and review and verify component and system requirements within applicable regulatory frameworks.
Requirements
- Industry experience in testing, verification, and validation for mechatronics product development or test automation
- Degree or equivalent in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Knowledge of mechatronic-system analysis
- Experience with C++ and Python for data analysis and test-bench automation
- Hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, or automation-system design, construction, or commissioning
- English proficiency
- Experience with Unix, fieldbus systems, and embedded controllers
- Familiarity with regulations and standards for mechatronic systems and industrial automation
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement test-bench software for complex mechatronic systems
- Coordinate the design, construction, and commissioning of test benches
- Evaluate test results and provide feedback
- Implement data acquisition and data analysis at component and system levels
- Develop and document test and calibration procedures
- Review, propose, and verify component and system requirements
