About the Role
You will integrate, bring up, debug, and validate electrical, mechanical, and software systems for autonomous weapon platforms. You will diagnose system issues, develop test procedures, build test fixtures and automation tools, support field testing, and validate hardware revisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in hardware bring-up, integration, and test
- Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and lab instrumentation
- Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware debugging
- Proficiency using Linux from the command line
- Experience with CAN, Ethernet, RS-422/485, UART, and I²C
- Basic Python or C/C++ programming ability
- Understanding of real-time constraints and hardware-software integration
Responsibilities
- Integrate electrical subsystems including motor drivers, sensors, cameras, networking, and power systems
- Perform system bring-up, debugging, and validation during prototype and production phases
- Debug and integrate Linux-based platforms and STM32 firmware
- Use lab equipment to diagnose power, signal integrity, timing, and communication issues
- Develop and execute electrical, communication, and system-level test procedures
- Support field testing and root-cause operational failures
- Build and maintain test fixtures, harnesses, and automation tools
- Validate new hardware revisions and design changes
