About the Role
You will lead the Test and Validation Engineering team while developing complete-robot validation tests. You will create repeatable test methods, establish standards for test execution and data practices, manage test equipment and lab assets, and communicate test risks, results, and readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of Test and Validation, Design Validation, Reliability Test, or related complex hardware engineering experience
- Experience leading Test and Validation Engineers through complex projects
- Experience developing and executing tests for robotic systems or complex electromechanical assemblies
- Experience with data acquisition, environmental chambers, vibration systems, HALT, mechanical actuation, and dynamometers
- Experience with test planning, data collection, analysis, tracking, and technical reporting
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Test and Validation Engineering team
- Deliver validation strategies and test methods for design exploration, validation, and reliability programs
- Develop complete-robot validation tests, including task and load characterization, durability testing, instrumentation, controls, and data acquisition
- Establish standards for test design, execution, data collection, analysis, tracking, and reporting
- Ensure test results are accurate, repeatable, and actionable
- Plan and utilize test equipment and lab assets, including budgeting, procurement, and capacity planning
- Report test execution, risks, roadblocks, results, and program readiness
