About the Role
You will own exchange-facing technical operations, regulatory and technical reporting, audits, and infrastructure deployments into exchange colocations. You will work with internal technology teams and external parties, translate technical and regulatory materials between Chinese and English, identify operational risks, and improve processes through automation and AI.
Requirements
- Understanding of technology, operations, and regulation in a trading environment.
- Foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems engineering, networking, or software development.
- Experience owning regulatory and technical reporting and audits.
- Experience with server deployments, colocation setups, or vendor-managed technical services.
- Fluency in Chinese and English.
- Experience working across teams and functions without direct authority.
- Experience operating in high-accountability, ambiguous, and time-sensitive environments.
- Ability to work on site in Taipei.
Responsibilities
- Manage exchange-facing technical operations and relationships with TAIFEX and infrastructure vendors.
- Manage regulatory and technical reporting obligations and deadlines.
- Coordinate deployments of trading infrastructure into exchange colocations.
- Work with data centre, network, and systems engineering teams.
- Act as the operational contact between internal technology teams and external parties.
- Identify operational risks and bottlenecks.
- Improve processes and controls through AI and automation.
- Translate technical and regulatory material between Chinese and English.
- Communicate status, risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders.
- Provide occasional weekend and out-of-hours operational coverage.
