About the Role
You will own the operational cadence and reliability of safety-critical infrastructure. You will lead incident tracking, post-mortems, follow-through on action items, SLO definition, reporting, runbook quality, and incident ownership. You will also coordinate infrastructure migrations and evaluation-platform improvements, keeping cross-team dependencies sequenced and delivery on track.
Requirements
- Technical program management experience in operational or infrastructure-heavy environments
- Knowledge of production ML systems
- Ability to triage incidents and discuss technical failures with engineers
- Experience coordinating work across team boundaries
- Interest in AI safety
- Knowledge of SRE practices, incident management, or on-call operations
- Experience with ML evaluation infrastructure
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as PagerDuty or Datadog
Responsibilities
- Run the Safeguards Engineering operations review
- Track incidents and drive post-mortem completion and action-item closure
- Establish and maintain SLOs with partner teams
- Build reliability tracking and reporting
- Maintain accurate runbooks and clear incident ownership
- Lead platform migrations and infrastructure projects
- Coordinate evaluation-platform improvements and dependencies
