About the Role
You will build and lead a platform engineering function while owning infrastructure strategy and execution. You will improve deployment workflows, reliability, security, observability, incident response, developer tooling, architecture standards, and engineer development.
Requirements
- 8+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering
- 3+ years managing engineering teams
- Experience scaling production infrastructure from startup to enterprise scale
- Experience improving developer velocity and reliability with measurable results
- Fluency in event-driven architectures Kubernetes GitOps and cloud infrastructure
- AWS experience preferred
- Ability to review architecture guide technical decisions and join incident response
- Strong cross-functional leadership
- Comfort operating in fast-changing ambiguous environments
- Clear async communication through RFCs runbooks and incident reviews
- High ownership and autonomy
- Team-first mindset and low ego
- Curiosity about crypto and DeFi
Responsibilities
- Build and lead the platform engineering team
- Own the infrastructure roadmap and technical strategy
- Drive self-service infrastructure CI/CD optimization and developer tooling
- Implement zero-trust IAM observability proactive alerting and incident practices
- Prepare tier-1 services for multi-region operation
- Partner with product protocol and business functions on infrastructure planning
- Set architecture documentation infrastructure-as-code and mentorship standards
