About the Role

You will provide advanced remote support for automated systems, resolve complex controls, software, networking, and electro-mechanical issues, and lead critical incidents. You will monitor system health, perform root-cause analysis, improve knowledge content, and support maintenance activities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of technical support, controls, or engineering experience supporting complex systems
• Remote system support experience using Remote Desktop or SSH
• TCP/IP networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Linux shell and scripting proficiency
• SQL scripting and application support knowledge
• Familiarity with ISC DHCP, BIND, and server configuration
• Experience with motion control systems, Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Ladder Logic, C, and scripting languages
• Server management, Active Directory, and Windows/Linux patching experience
• Troubleshooting, documentation, collaboration, and communication skills
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex technical support requests
• Provide remote support for electro-mechanical, software, networking, and controls issues
• Troubleshoot automation systems, PLCs, motors, VFDs, motion controls, software, and scripts
• Lead major incident response and coordinate cross-functional resources
• Prioritize issues based on customer impact, system criticality, and SLAs
• Monitor system metrics, logs, and trends proactively
• Drive root-cause analyses and preventative actions
• Create and improve knowledge-base content
• Support maintenance activities including backups, trend analysis, and I/O checks
• Interpret electrical schematics and system documentation
