About the Role

Work as a Technical Artist on Magic Madness VR, focusing on optimization, standalone VR porting, shaders, VFX, rendering, and performance while bridging art and engineering.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical art.
  • Strong Unreal Engine experience.
  • CPU and GPU profiling and optimization skills.
  • Experience with shaders and VFX.
  • Knowledge of Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
  • Experience with environment and level content creation.
  • Experience with mobile projects.
  • Understanding of computer graphics principles.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Availability to work on-site in Prague.
  • Experience with VR projects.
  • Knowledge of Python or C++.
  • Experience with standalone VR hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Profile and optimize the game on CPU and GPU.
  • Port Magic Madness VR from PC VR to standalone VR.
  • Build and tune shaders and VFX in Unreal Engine.
  • Balance visual quality and performance in environments and level content.
  • Define performance budgets, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineers, environment artists, and level designers.
