About the Role
You will design and lead cloud-native, distributed microservices solutions; translate business needs into technical architecture; troubleshoot production issues; guide cross-functional engineering teams; mentor engineers; define service objectives; document system designs; support agile activities; and present technical decisions to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of software engineering and system architecture experience
- 7+ years of experience with Java, Angular, Angular Material, SpringBoot, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- 7+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases
- 7+ years of experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure
- 7+ years of experience designing cloud-native solutions
- 7+ years of experience designing microservices with Java, SpringBoot, GCP SDKs, and GKE/Kubernetes
- 7+ years of experience with Jenkins CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Helm Charts, and Terraform
- Experience with AI developer tooling
- Experience designing AI-powered application features or integrating Generative AI/LLM APIs
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate cloud-native distributed microservices architecture expertise
- Deliver end-to-end architectural solutions for complex business problems
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead scalable technical solutions
- Guide cross-functional technical teams
- Troubleshoot production and customer issues
- Leverage full-stack development and public cloud technologies
- Mentor and coach software, quality, and reliability engineers
- Maintain QE, DevSec, and FinOps KPIs
- Define and report SLA, SLO, and SLI metrics
- Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams
- Support sprint planning and retrospectives
- Make cross-system implementation architecture decisions
- Present technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
