About the Role
You will maintain the uptime and integrity of customer systems and architect reliable operational infrastructure. You will monitor servers, hardware, software, and operating systems; manage Linux, Proxmox, and Docker deployments; automate core tasks; enforce security policies; troubleshoot systems; and document technical designs and training materials.
Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Expertise administering Debian-based distributions
- Expertise in computer networks, hardware, support, IT security, and tools
- Experience with cloud, bare-metal, and VPS hosting environments
- Experience with databases and SQL, preferably MySQL
- Programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Ansible
- Linux, Proxmox, and pfSense experience
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Maintain the uptime and integrity of customer systems
- Build and architect systems that maintain uptime
- Document technical designs and create training materials and documentation
- Monitor daily server hardware, software, and operating systems
- Manage Linux, Proxmox, and Docker installations, upgrades, maintenance, and deployments
- Implement and scale automation of core tasks with development
- Maintain security policies and guidelines to protect data assets
- Test, troubleshoot, and modify information systems
