About the Role
You will deploy, maintain, and enhance an electronic trading system operating across global venues. You will troubleshoot complex Linux-based technical issues, support external trading connections and counterparties, manage risk, and optimize systems. You will work with traders and exchanges to understand market structure and respond quickly to time-sensitive operational issues.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Linux environments
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, Bash, Perl, or Go
- Interest in high-transaction or low-latency systems
- Communication skills
- Strong academic record
Responsibilities
- Manage the deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of electronic trading systems
- Support external trading connections and counterparties
- Perform risk management, system triage, and system optimization
- Solve complex technical problems in Linux environments
- Work with traders and exchanges to understand micro-market structure
- Respond decisively to time-sensitive operational situations
