About the Role
You will independently lead audit remediation and cross-functional governance work. You will conduct security and architecture reviews, develop governance policies and procedures, coordinate with regulators and auditors, deploy AI-assisted compliance workflows, produce executive reporting, and translate evolving regulatory requirements into prioritized actions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of IT audit, risk management, compliance, or security governance experience
- 3+ years leading governance programs at a large-scale internet, financial services, or crypto firm
- Active daily use of AI tools for compliance and governance work
- Experience building and scaling AI-assisted governance workflows
- Deep working knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 1/2, PCI-DSS, COBIT, and NIST
- Knowledge of GDPR and APAC data-protection regimes
- Ability to interpret code, architecture diagrams, and technical design documents
- Familiarity with Alibaba Cloud, AWS, GCP, and security tooling
- Executive-level English communication skills
- Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage
Responsibilities
- Lead audit remediation programs and drive verified closure across functions
- Own cross-functional governance work streams, milestones, accountability, and blockers
- Conduct IT security and architecture governance reviews
- Build and maintain IT governance policies and procedures
- Lead regulator and auditor engagement
- Deploy AI-assisted workflows for evidence collection, control monitoring, audit response, and policy generation
- Produce governance dashboards and executive briefs
- Monitor regulatory developments and brief senior leadership
