About the Role
You will lead Software Test and Automation Engineers and turn the software test strategy into daily execution. You will set technical direction for test automation and infrastructure, own test evidence and release recommendations, design test frameworks, resolve integration issues, and develop team capability.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent overseas qualification
- Have 8+ years of experience developing software test, verification, automation, validation, or quality-assurance solutions for complex distributed systems
- Have 2+ years of experience leading engineers as a people manager or technical lead
- Demonstrate experience implementing test strategy across multiple products or programs and owning release or acceptance recommendations
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python for automation, testing, and data analysis
- Have experience architecting automated test frameworks or validation infrastructure
- Have experience validating software in simulation, SIL, HIL, or representative hardware or flight-test environments
- Have experience with CI/CD pipelines, continuous validation, Linux, Windows, and test-environment management
- Have experience with requirements and test-management tools and fault-tracking systems
- Understand software verification, regression testing, traceability, quality assurance methodologies, and Agile development
- Be able to obtain an Australian NV1 security clearance
- Comply with export-control, security, safety, and customer-site requirements
