About the Role
You will sit at the intersection of product leadership and strategic program management. You will own and orchestrate IDnow's product portfolio of document-based identity verification methods— ensuring it remains commercially healthy, customer-ready, and compliantly maintained — while simultaneously driving the structured transition of these products onto IDnow's next-generation platform. You will report to the Director of Product in charge of the overall Doc-based IDV Product Portfolio. You will coordinate and lead a team of Product Managers in a senior lead / player-coach model: setting direction and standards, unblocking delivery, and actively contributing yourself where it matters most. You will work hand-in-hand with senior leadership to align cross-product priorities, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and ensure the organization moves with strategic clarity through a period of meaningful platform evolution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management and at least 3 years in a people-management role with formal direct reports
- Demonstrated ability to lead product teams through complexity - platform migrations, portfolio rationalization, or significant product transitions
- Strong strategic program management skills: able to structure ambiguous, multi-workstream initiatives and drive them to delivery
- Proven track record of shipping and maintaining high-quality B2B SaaS products in regulated or compliance-sensitive industries
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - comfortable engaging C-level executives, customers, and engineering leadership equally
- Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience using analytics tools
- Fluency in English (German and/or French is a strong plus)
Responsibilities
- Lead the structured transition of IDnow's current product suite to the next-generation platform, balancing platform evolution with near-term product health and revenue protection
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success on transition sequencing, dependencies, and risk mitigation
- Translate business strategy into executable product and program plans with clear milestones and success criteria
- Own a product line end-to-end, ensuring each product meets commercial, regulatory, and operational standards throughout the transition period
- Define and track product KPIs and health metrics; report progress transparently to Product Leadership team and C-level stakeholders
- Represent the product in strategic customer conversations and pre-sales engagements where portfolio knowledge is critical
- Ensure timely and predictable delivery across the portfolio by driving clear prioritization, resolving cross-team dependencies, and maintaining strong stakeholder alignment throughout the product lifecycle
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers in a player-coach model — actively contributing to product work while elevating team capability and setting clear standards
- Coach PMs on prioritization, stakeholder management, and product thinking — building the next generation of product leadership within IDnow
