About the Role
You will lead a hardware partner engineering function while personally managing a key OEM relationship. You will coordinate issue resolution, align internal stakeholders, improve tooling and processes, establish operating models, maintain senior partner relationships, and secure resources for the function's growth.
Requirements
- 8+ years of direct people management experience
- 5+ years of hands-on technical experience
- Experience with software systems embedded or device-level environments
- Ability to diagnose technical issues at systems or device level
- Experience driving operational improvements through processes tooling or automation
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
- Experience building relationships with external engineering teams
- Willingness to work from Amsterdam or San Francisco
- Ability to travel and work across Asia and US time zones
- Work authorization in the United States without new visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Manage and coach Hardware Partner Engineers
- Own technical relationships with hardware OEM partners
- Debug reproduce document and resolve partner issues
- Align Product Engineering Reliability and Commercial stakeholders
- Deploy tooling automation and process improvements
- Improve payment experiences on partner devices
- Define team structures ways of working and escalation paths
- Conduct senior-level partner reviews and escalation management
- Secure resources and align senior stakeholders
