About the Role

You will lead engineers building credit card and banking experiences. You will set technical and execution direction, guide architecture, partner with product and design stakeholders, improve reliability and scalability, hire and coach engineers, and support strong performance and career development.

Requirements

8 or more years of software engineering experience
At least 2 years of engineering management experience
Experience leading teams that ship customer facing products at scale
Strong technical judgment
Experience with architecture tradeoffs and execution
Experience with distributed systems backend services or full stack consumer products
Track record of leading cross functional initiatives from concept through launch
Experience coaching and developing engineers
Strong communication skills
Experience in fintech banking credit cards payments lending or other regulated domains is a plus
Experience with mobile first consumer applications is a plus
Familiarity with modern backend and data systems is a plus
