About the Role

You will support income tax provision, corporate tax compliance, transfer pricing, indirect taxes, audits, SOX controls, tax research, and incentive programs. You will also support data center expansion projects, integrate AI into tax workflows, monitor tax developments, and partner with accounting, finance, legal, and advisors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
  • CPA required
  • 6+ years of progressive corporate tax experience
  • ASC 740 expertise
  • Corporate tax compliance expertise across federal and state income tax
  • Transfer pricing experience
  • Intercompany agreement and intercompany accounting experience
  • Indirect tax experience including sales and use tax VAT and property tax
  • SOX controls and documentation experience
  • Tax research skills using AI-enabled tools
  • Ability to write technical tax memos
  • Corporate in-house tax experience
  • Strong teamwork collaboration and communication skills
  • Tax provision and compliance software proficiency
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Big 4 experience preferred
  • Canadian tax experience preferred
  • Data center industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740
  • Manage federal state and local corporate income tax compliance
  • Support transfer pricing processes and studies
  • Assist with Canadian tax matters
  • Manage indirect tax processes and audits
  • Support data center site selection and expansion projects
  • Pursue and negotiate tax incentives
  • Manage incentive compliance
  • Support tax audits and taxing-authority inquiries
  • Maintain SOX internal controls and documentation
  • Conduct tax research using AI-enabled tools
  • Document tax positions in technical memos
  • Integrate AI into tax workflows
  • Monitor tax legislation and regulatory developments
  • Partner with accounting FP&A treasury legal auditors and advisors
