About the Role
Design, implement, and refine automated trading algorithms for cryptocurrency markets. Analyze market microstructure and large datasets to generate trading signals, validate them through backtesting, optimize computing architectures, write production-quality code, and collaborate on trading-system deployment and maintenance.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related technical field
- Logical reasoning and analytical skills
- Experience writing code to process and analyze large datasets
- Proficiency in software development and engineering principles
- Prior experience in electronic trading, ideally in FX or futures
- Strong software development skills in lower-level languages and Python
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automated trading algorithms for cryptocurrency markets
- Conduct research and analysis to improve trading strategies and risk management
- Analyze market data and market microstructure to enhance algorithm performance
- Discover patterns, translate them into trading signals, and validate them through backtesting
- Design complex computer system architectures for trading infrastructure
- Collaborate with team members to build and deploy automated trading solutions
