You will define integration APIs, collaborate on hardware-software co-design, improve data-path performance, provide technical oversight, develop software roadmaps, and advance system software research.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 6–15 years of system-level software development experience, including architecture or technical leadership roles
  • Computer architecture, memory hierarchy, and on-chip interconnect knowledge
  • C/C++ programming
  • Linux kernel driver development, including PCIe, DMA, and IOMMU
  • Embedded systems and firmware development in RTOS or bare-metal environments
  • Communication and cross-domain collaboration skills
  • AI hardware platform architecture experience
  • AI/ML framework and runtime interaction knowledge
  • Virtualization technology and secure boot familiarity
  • Publications or patents in system software or computer architecture

Responsibilities

  • Design and document low-level software architecture for firmware, device drivers, and hardware-software interfaces
  • Define APIs between firmware, drivers, and user-space libraries
  • Collaborate on hardware-software co-design
  • Lead low-latency, high-throughput data-path strategies across DMA, memory management, and interrupts
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight to driver and firmware development
  • Develop long-term software roadmaps
  • Drive research and innovation in system software and accelerator technologies
