About the Role
You will support synch and creative operations in Los Angeles. You will curate and maintain Spotify playlists, build and organize DISCO playlists and samplers, prepare pitch materials for film, television, advertising, and trailer opportunities, ingest audio files, prepare metadata spreadsheets, verify audio and metadata, research workflow tools, and maintain an accessible music library. You will provide administrative support, schedule meetings, update roster materials and playlists, coordinate events and performance ticket purchases, provide Billboard chart coverage, complete expense reports, welcome guests, maintain common areas, organize supplies, and reset shared spaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong interest in music publishing and the music and entertainment industries
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail when working with music assets, metadata, spreadsheets, and catalog information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with DISCO or similar music asset management and delivery platforms preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Proactive and resourceful approach with the ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and follow projects through to completion
Responsibilities
- Curate and maintain Spotify playlists for music supervisors
- Build, organize, and refine playlists and samplers in DISCO
- Format and prepare project-specific samplers and outbound pitch materials
- Ingest audio files for new signings and releases
- Prepare metadata spreadsheets for DISCO import
- Research tools and technologies to improve synch workflows
- Verify audio completeness and metadata accessibility
- Maintain an accessible music library
- Complete monthly expense reports
- Provide administrative support for creative processes
- Schedule creative team meetings
- Create DISCO playlists for creative pitches
- Update roster sheets and other creative materials
- Update roster Spotify playlists with weekly releases
- Coordinate company events in Los Angeles
- Coordinate Los Angeles performance ticket purchases
- Provide internal Billboard chart coverage
- Welcome guests and manage visitor experiences
- Maintain organized common areas
- Manage kitchen upkeep
