About the Role
You will lead supply-chain readiness and sourcing for new product introductions through production scale. You will coordinate engineering, product, supply, quality, operations, and suppliers; manage risks, schedules, cost targets, and supplier readiness; and improve sourcing playbooks and milestone frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain program management for new product development
- Experience in manufacturing, hardware, or complex electromechanical engineering environments
- Knowledge of NPI product development lifecycles, BOM cost tracking, supplier readiness, and risk mitigation
- Ability to work onsite four days per week in Waltham, Massachusetts
- Ability to travel 10–15% domestically and internationally
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Drive supply-chain readiness and NPI sourcing execution
- Align supply-chain capabilities with program milestones and product architecture
- Coordinate supplier engagement, component selection, contract execution, and supplier readiness
- Identify and mitigate supply-chain risks
- Manage BOM cost targets, cost models, and total cost of ownership
- Provide supply-chain guidance during engineering design reviews
- Build and improve sourcing playbooks, tracking templates, and readiness frameworks
