About the Role
You will develop and execute automated supercomputing test suites for server hardware and software. You will investigate failures, analyze performance metrics, improve test infrastructure, document test results, and work with engineering partners to implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go
- Experience with software testing methodologies and tools
- Understanding of operating systems, preferably Linux, and server hardware architectures
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide solutions
- Communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Experience reading and interpreting hardware logs
- Experience with hardware burn-in or reliability testing
- Experience with performance testing and benchmarking tools
- Familiarity with hardware diagnostic tools and techniques
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of low-level hardware communication protocols such as I2C
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automated supercomputing test suites using Python, Go, Bash, and test frameworks
- Execute tests on server hardware and analyze system performance, health, and results
- Investigate and debug hardware and software failures and provide mitigation plans
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain portable test environments and automation tools
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test-result documentation
- Analyze performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes
