About the Role

You will lead and drive design for a vertical, enhancing both new and existing customer experiences. You will own the end-to-end design process, ensuring customer-centric solutions that resonate with both new and seasoned users. You'll collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to craft innovative design solutions that meet user and business needs. You will establish and maintain a high standard of design craft across the ecosystem, covering visual design, interaction design, and usability. You'll drive product-led growth through impactful and intuitive product experiences, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Design System. You will also act as a mentor and leader to other designers, participate in and lead design critiques and product discussions, and communicate complex design concepts clearly to stakeholders including senior leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product design, including significant experience working on cross-functional teams
• A proven track record of delivering outstanding design solutions for complex products with a customer-centric mindset
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in interaction design, visual design, and information architecture, with experience in user research, journey mapping, and persona development
• Deep understanding of modern design tools and processes, including experience with Figma and other design & research tools
• Experience working with and contributing to Design Systems in a collaborative environment
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present and advocate for design decisions across the organization
• Strong problem-solving abilities, able to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints to deliver impactful design solutions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment, with a passion for advancing design craft and pushing the envelope of innovation
• Experience in futures trading, financial markets, or investment platforms is a huge plus

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Design System, refining and evolving it to scale with the platform's growth
• Act as a mentor and leader to other designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and design excellence across the team
• Participate in and lead design critiques, product discussions, and pair-designing sessions to collaboratively shape the design direction
• Communicate complex design concepts clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership
