About the Role

You will define strategic product objectives and roadmap opportunities for payment services. You will research, test and deliver incremental outcomes, measure customer impact, champion design practices, collaborate with product and engineering partners, and mentor a distributed product-design team.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of relevant UX or product design experience
  • Experience in a SaaS scale-up or start-up environment
  • Experience leading a product design squad or contributing to a product launch
  • Knowledge of product-design methodologies and design thinking
  • Ability to work with product management and engineering on product strategy and OKRs
  • Proficiency leading design reviews and using Figma
  • Experience with user testing and research methodologies
  • Experience working in an agile scale-up environment
  • Experience using Looker, Heap, Google Analytics, Hotjar or similar tools for design decisions

Responsibilities

  • Define strategic objectives and goals with product managers, technical owners and senior stakeholders
  • Identify and prioritise product-roadmap initiatives
  • Research and de-risk initiatives with product and engineering partners
  • Define success metrics and expected impact
  • Deliver tested and validated outcomes incrementally
  • Partner with product engineering to align delivery with the vision
  • Improve ways of working and experience quality
  • Monitor customer impact and operational success
  • Champion design thinking and member-centric practices
  • Lead and mentor product designers across geographies
  • Develop actionable career goals for designers
  • Promote continuous improvement and collaboration
