About the Role
You will lead release readiness and deployment execution across engineering, operations, and site teams. You will develop automation, integrate systems, support CI/CD and Kubernetes deployments, troubleshoot complex production issues, and improve runbooks and operational reliability. You will mentor engineers and support deployment activities, site readiness, and critical releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience
- Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD, DevOps, deployment automation, PowerShell scripting, APIs, databases, and system integration skills
- Experience with Docker, Python, SQL, Git, Jenkins, Ansible/AWX, Helm, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, monitoring, or cloud platforms preferred
- Experience with supply chain automation, warehouse automation, logistics systems, robotics, ASRS, WMS, WES, or WCS environments preferred
- Technical problem solving, cross-team coordination, communication, documentation, and production support skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client and customer locations
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional release readiness and deployment execution
- Drive supply chain automation improvements through software development, system integration, and deployment automation
- Architect and support CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, infrastructure automation, and production releases
- Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, integrations, infrastructure, databases, and distributed systems
- Develop automation, tools, runbooks, and repeatable processes
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver stable production environments
- Travel for deployment activities, site readiness, customer environments, and critical release events
