About the Role

You will scope, design, build, and maintain complex security systems. You will identify systemic risks, build security controls, improve developer and supply-chain security, protect sensitive assets, and enable engineering teams to build secure solutions through reusable frameworks and guidance.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of software engineering experience with deep security expertise
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Programming skills in Python, Go, Rust, C, or C++
• Understanding of identity systems, cryptographic primitives, and secrets management
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security primitives
• Experience leading cross-functional security initiatives

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain complex security systems
• Identify risks through threat modeling and risk assessment and build mitigating controls
• Mentor engineers, contribute to hiring, and grow security engineering culture
• Provide security design patterns that enable other teams to build secure solutions
• Embed security practices into the software development lifecycle and developer workflows
• Harden CI/CD pipelines against supply-chain attacks
• Build and operate credential issuance, rotation, and workload authentication
• Implement cloud and cluster security controls
• Build cryptographic, mTLS, serialization, and authorization frameworks
