About the Role

You will build and automate secure systems, infrastructure, and developer workflows. You will lead security architecture, threat modeling, API security, compliance readiness, incident response, access controls, and security monitoring. You will review risks and help engineers make pragmatic security tradeoffs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of security engineering experience or equivalent staff-level depth
• Experience as a TL TLM or staff-level engineer
• Experience securing enterprise-facing products APIs infrastructure or compliance-heavy environments
• Experience with product and API security
• Experience with SOC 2 ISO 27001 GDPR or comparable programs
• Experience with identity and access management encryption cloud security controls mTLS policy systems or security APIs
• Proficiency in Python
• Knowledge of Go Rust or C++
• Knowledge of CI/CD deployment automation Kubernetes Docker infrastructure as code AWS or Azure

Responsibilities

• Build security tools and automate security best practices
• Design secure systems and guide security architecture and threat modeling
• Lead proactive protection for customer-facing APIs
• Drive SOC 2 ISO 27001 and privacy compliance readiness
• Design VPC network isolation access controls and security monitoring
• Build secure infrastructure automation and internal tools
• Establish secure development vulnerability management and incident-response practices
• Review systems for security risks and guide pragmatic tradeoffs
