About the Role

You will own smart-wallet architecture, including account models, signing, sessions, and gas abstraction. You will design ERC-4337 and EIP-7702 flows, secure dApp-facing wallet interfaces, custody and recovery systems, and paymaster strategy. You will lead technical decisions, mitigate wallet risks, set engineering standards, and resolve complex production issues.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on ERC-4337 knowledge
  • Knowledge of EIP-7702 and its risks
  • Experience with production smart-account implementations
  • Experience designing session keys and delegated permissions
  • Knowledge of EIP-712, ERC-1271, WebAuthn, EIP-1193, EIP-6963, EIP-5792, and ERC-7677
  • Experience operating production smart-wallet or account-abstraction systems
  • Substantial engineering experience at a major crypto organization or comparable wallet, exchange, or account-abstraction infrastructure team
  • Solidity and EVM fluency
  • Knowledge of L2 wallet-design considerations
  • Strong Go engineering skills
  • TypeScript SDK design skills
  • Distributed-systems experience
  • PostgreSQL experience
  • Kubernetes experience
  • Kafka or NATS experience
  • Git and CI/CD experience
  • Production key-management experience
  • Wallet threat-modeling knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Own smart-wallet and account-abstraction architecture
  • Design account, signing, session-key, and permission models
  • Own paymaster and gas-sponsorship strategy
  • Harden dApp-facing signer security and transaction-confirmation flows
  • Lead custody and recovery-roadmap design
  • Drive cross-team decisions on wallet architecture, SDKs, data modeling, and reliability
  • Identify and mitigate key-management, phishing, reorganization, dependency, and contract-upgrade risks
  • Define engineering standards and review critical code, contracts, and designs
  • Align technical plans with product, security, legal, and infrastructure stakeholders
  • Resolve complex wallet and account-abstraction production issues
