About the Role
You will lead the development of vision, vision-language, and vision-language-action models for autonomous systems. You will build data and fine-tuning pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and deployment infrastructure; optimize embedded inference; translate research into reliable production capabilities; and collaborate across perception, autonomy, platform, and software engineering.
Requirements
- 7 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 6 years with a master's degree, or 4 years with a PhD
- Machine learning expertise
- Production computer-vision model training and deployment experience
- Strong understanding of 3D vision algorithms
- Experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Experience deploying models with TensorRT and ONNX
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
Responsibilities
- Design, train, fine-tune, and maintain vision, vision-language, and vision-language-action models
- Build scalable data pipelines, supervised fine-tuning workflows, and evaluation loops
- Deploy and optimize models for embedded hardware
- Apply machine learning to perception and autonomy problems
- Translate machine learning research into production capabilities
- Integrate machine learning capabilities into autonomous systems
- Develop benchmarks, testing methodologies, and evaluation frameworks
- Improve training infrastructure, tooling, deployment workflows, and model lifecycle management
