About the Role
You will design and develop a high-performance multi-tenant AI training platform. You will build training components and end-to-end ML pipelines, analyze and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks, enable machine learning engineers to optimize workflows, and set a high standard for engineering excellence.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with ML platforms and ML-based applications
- Programming skills in Python, C++, or equivalent
- Experience with Lance, PyTorch, Ray Data, or equivalent technologies
- Experience building scalable and reliable infrastructure with machine learning engineers
- Understanding of design tradeoffs and cross-functional alignment
- Experience with model training, model optimization, or large-scale data processing pipelines
- Analytical problem-solving and technical communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve training platform components for orchestration, control planes, observability, and performance tuning
- Deliver end-to-end ML pipelines from log processing and feature extraction through training and acceleration
- Analyze training infrastructure performance and resolve bottlenecks
- Develop abstractions and tooling that help machine learning engineers iterate rapidly
- Incorporate open-source tools for profiling and workflow optimization
- Promote engineering excellence through your work and technical leadership
