About the Role
You will implement, train, benchmark, and optimise machine learning models for performance, accuracy, and scalability across large accelerator systems. You will profile bottlenecks, optimise kernels, evaluate software releases, fix code, conduct reviews, and run experiments on AI methods. You will collaborate with research, software, and product colleagues and stay current with AI developments.
Requirements
- Deep learning framework proficiency with PyTorch or JAX
- Python or C++ software development
- Hardware-accelerated deep learning experience
- Machine learning experiment design, execution, and reporting
- Knowledge of performance bottlenecks and optimisation
- Communication skills
- Legal right to work in the UK
Responsibilities
- Implement and train machine learning models across large accelerator systems
- Optimise models for performance, accuracy, and scalability
- Benchmark and profile models to identify performance bottlenecks
- Develop software-stack knowledge to optimise kernel implementations
- Test and evaluate internal software releases
- Provide feedback, make code fixes, and conduct code reviews
- Design and conduct experiments on novel AI methods
- Collaborate to define, build, and test next-generation AI hardware
- Engage with the AI community and track AI developments
