About the Role
You will serve as a technical anchor for the Middle Office domain, taking long-term responsibility for its technical health and strategic direction. You will break down ambiguous problems, identify failure patterns across systems, guide architectural improvements, align teams on major technical decisions, and establish safe and effective ways to use AI tools. You will also set standards for operational excellence and mentor senior engineers. Your work will involve distributed systems and technical direction across Python Django, React, Postgres, JVM languages, gRPC, and AWS cloud-native infrastructure.
Requirements
- Expertise in building distributed systems
- Comfort guiding technical direction across Python Django React Postgres JVM languages gRPC and AWS cloud-native infrastructure
- Ability to lead through influence rather than authority
- Constructive communication and technical discipline
- Ability to anticipate future roadblocks and design systems for long-term growth
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Track record of high-level technical leadership
