About the Role
Evolve and architect efficient userspace software systems that handle rich, high-frequency data in realtime. Build embedded applications, sensor fusion pipelines, and computer vision systems, monitor performance across tens of thousands of devices, use hardware acceleration, and optimize ML vision models for edge hardware.
Requirements
- Experience with embedded sensor solutions
- Solid understanding of map data sensor platforms including RGB, global shutter stereo depth, GNSS, and IMUs
- Hands-on Linux OS development experience for embedded systems using Yocto
- Proficiency in C or C++ and at least one of Python, TypeScript, Node.js, OpenVINO, or Go
Responsibilities
- Evolve and architect efficient userspace software systems dealing with rich, high frequency data in realtime
- Build high-level C++, Python, and TypeScript embedded applications and sensor fusion pipelines, and computer vision systems
- Use a data-driven approach to iterating quickly with near-realtime performance monitoring across tens of thousands of devices worldwide
- Write high quality software that takes advantage of hardware paths when possible
- Optimize ML vision models to run on hardware efficiently
