About the Role
Lead the development of developer tools and infrastructure used across engineering, improve developer experience throughout the software development lifecycle, automate repetitive tasks, build libraries and pre-production environments, integrate tooling and vendor services, optimize build and CI/CD systems, and guide technical direction and engineering quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience leading the development of developer tools or infrastructure for engineering teams
- Expertise evaluating technical tradeoffs and understanding infrastructure effects on developer productivity
- Fluent knowledge of AI tooling, build tooling, containerization, and open-source development frameworks
- Experience managing or developing within Kubernetes clusters
- Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Release Engineering, or a similar discipline
- Deep understanding of automated testing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- Expertise in modern programming languages, specifically Go
- Advanced proficiency with Git-based workflows using GitLab or GitHub
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related analytical field, or equivalent professional experience
