About the Role
You will design, build, and operate secure, highly available AWS infrastructure. You will own infrastructure as code, improve CI/CD pipelines, implement backup and disaster recovery, and maintain observability and security guardrails. You will automate operational workflows, resolve distributed-systems issues, and deploy and monitor AI-enabled systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Significant systems or infrastructure engineering experience
- AWS cloud infrastructure expertise
- Python, TypeScript, or equivalent programming skills
- CI/CD, GitHub, and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Backup strategy, data architecture, and disaster recovery experience
- Logging and monitoring or observability experience
- Security guardrail implementation experience
- Workflow automation and distributed-systems debugging skills
- Linear, Jira, and Databricks familiarity
- AI governance familiarity, including ISO 42001
- Knowledge of AI security risks and mitigations
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate secure, highly available AWS infrastructure
- Own infrastructure as code using AWS CDK or Terraform
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Define and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
- Architect data storage and processing patterns
- Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and observability
- Implement security guardrails throughout the development lifecycle
- Build workflow automation for infrastructure operations
- Debug distributed cloud-native systems and drive root-cause analysis
- Implement AI Ops and AI DevOps practices
- Partner with engineering, security, and compliance stakeholders
