About the Role

You will build platform and backend systems across recording, integrations, and AI agents. You will own key features from architectural decisions through implementation, deployment, and support. You will design scalable services for real-time sales-conversation processing, maintain system health, and use data to guide decisions. You will strengthen engineering practices through code reviews, documentation, and tooling, while partnering with product and design to turn customer needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Ability to work in the New York City office three or more days per week.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages, databases, API frameworks, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.
• Problem-solving skills and a first-principles approach.
• Communication skills for explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of key features from architecture through implementation, deployment, and support.
• Design and build scalable backend services for real-time processing of sales conversations.
• Drive technical excellence through code reviews, documentation, and engineering best practices.
• Partner with product and design teams to turn customer needs into technical solutions.
• Own system and product health and make data-driven decisions.
• Evolve development practices and tooling to support sustainable scaling.
