About the Role

You will design and build scalable, high-performance backend systems using Node.js, ExpressJS, and Solidity. You will lead architecture discussions, improve reliability and security, scale infrastructure, enhance APIs, optimize settlement processes, improve deployment and monitoring, review code, mentor junior engineers, and partner with Product and DevOps.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of backend or software engineering experience.
  • Experience building production systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Node.js and its internals.
  • Expertise designing and developing RESTful APIs and web services using ExpressJS.
  • Experience with Python, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with system design, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
  • Share GitHub, Bitbucket, or product URLs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable, high-performance backend systems using NodeJS, ExpressJS, and Solidity.
  • Lead architecture discussions and drive best practices for reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Assess platform-architecture security risks and implement robust solutions.
  • Scale infrastructure to meet demand and ensure high availability.
  • Understand blockchain architecture and improve APIs for internal and external consumption.
  • Build optimization algorithms for faster settlement while minimizing technical and financial risk.
  • Improve deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes for network infrastructure.
  • Mentor junior engineers, review code, and contribute to engineering culture.
  • Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
