About Ethena
Ethena is a decentralized finance protocol that allows users to mint USDe, a synthetic dollar, using liquid staking tokens as collateral. The platform also offers staking of USDe to earn yield in the form of sUSDe. Ethena aims to provide a stable, high-yield asset for the crypto ecosystem, combining the stability of a dollar-pegged token with the benefits of decentralized finance.

You apply test automation and modern engineering practices while optimizing throughput, availability, execution quality, and fault tolerance.
Requirements
- Build and support trading infrastructure from the ground up
- Develop market data feed handlers, algorithmic engines, backtesting frameworks, and execution platforms
- Know TDD, BDD, CI/CD, SOLID, modular code, and resilient system design
- Understand financial markets, trading mechanisms, security protocols, and multi-venue infrastructure
- Work with centralized crypto exchanges
- Work with perpetual swaps and deliverable futures
- Understand order routing, trade reconciliation, and execution quality optimization
- Design low-latency and high-throughput systems
- Solve complex technical challenges
- Perform unit, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a robust trading platform
- Build market data pipelines
- Integrate multiple trading venues using REST, WebSocket, FIX, and other protocols
- Develop trading strategies and execution logic with quant and trading teams
- Apply TDD, BDD, test automation, CI/CD, and SOLID principles
- Design fault-tolerant architectures
- Implement failover mechanisms
- Optimize system performance, throughput, latency, and execution quality
- Support reliable trading platform operations
