About the Role
You will complete software engineering and quality assurance work across the software development lifecycle. You will develop and execute test cases, conduct regression and integration testing, implement automated tests, document testing activities, and approve software releases. You will prepare test environments, including hardware setup and device flashing, and perform operational testing on flights in and around Melbourne.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or an equivalent overseas qualification
- Cross-platform testing experience with Windows and Linux
- Test environment and operating system management proficiency
- Ability to analyze and solve complex software engineering problems
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Experience contributing to software solutions and automation frameworks
- Knowledge of fault tracking systems
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test cases across the software development lifecycle
- Perform regression testing and implement automated tests
- Verify product performance goals and project requirements
- Document testing activities and software release approval matrices
- Complete work to agreed schedules and communicate likely delays or failures
- Collaborate to improve software design, testing processes, outcomes, and quality
