About the Role

You will own the billing and monetization product surface. You will define metering, reconciliation, invoicing, credits, pricing, API, fraud, and billing-experience requirements; work with finance and engineering; launch product changes; and use data to measure and improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience
• 2+ years on platform, infrastructure, or other technical products
• Knowledge of distributed-systems concepts including event pipelines, idempotency, and reconciliation
• Ability to work with finance on revenue recognition, invoicing, and audit requirements
• Ability to write actionable product documents
• Ability to define iterative product plans

Responsibilities

• Define product requirements for per-minute usage metering, accuracy standards, reconciliation, and lifecycle edge cases
• Build billing for self-serve on-demand customers and sales-led committed contracts
• Define billing correctness requirements and drive reconciliation and audit mechanisms
• Own credits and invoicing from issuance through disputes
• Enable pricing, instance-type, and contract-structure changes
• Define usage and billing surfaces in the public API
• Productize fraud detection, bad-debt management, and financial trade-offs
• Instrument the billing experience and ship iterative improvements
