About the Role

You will own and prioritize the storage product roadmap across block, file, and object storage. You will conduct customer discovery, define customer-facing storage capabilities, partner with engineering and SRE on specifications and economics, analyze the market, support go-to-market work, and maintain product documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
5+ years of technical product management or product-minded engineering experience
Experience gathering customer feedback and using it for product decisions
Understanding of cloud technologies and services
Experience building and launching block, file-system, or object-storage products
Experience defining ambiguous cross-functional initiatives
Technical experience with storage hardware, protocols, or file systems

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships and represent storage needs internally
Own and prioritize the storage roadmap across block, file, and object storage
Define capabilities for tiering, versioning, backup, restore, and lifecycle management
Partner with engineering and SRE on technical specifications, timelines, and economics
Communicate technical tradeoffs and decision documents to executives
Analyze cloud-storage market trends and competitive opportunities
Support sales and marketing positioning for storage capabilities
Create and maintain customer-facing product documentation
