About the Role
You will define and deliver developer experience strategy across onboarding, APIs, SDKs, tooling, console experiences, infrastructure-as-code workflows, and documentation. You will lead cross-team technical programs, establish reusable standards and quality gates, measure developer outcomes through telemetry, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Significant experience shipping developer-facing products or platforms
- Proficiency in Go or ability to ramp quickly in Go-based developer tooling
- Ability to lead ambiguous cross-team work through strategy, architecture, and delivery
- Full-stack capability with TypeScript, React, Go-based tooling, telemetry, and automation
- Experience with OpenAPI-driven or contract-first development
- Experience with reliability, performance, and safe incremental production delivery
- Strong written communication for specifications and RFCs
- Experience using AI in workflows or products with attention to cost, latency, and reliability
Responsibilities
- Define multi-quarter strategy, milestones, and success metrics for a developer experience domain
- Lead cross-team delivery across teams and repositories
- Build and evolve developer tooling, API and SDK experiences, infrastructure-as-code workflows, documentation, and onboarding
- Define KPIs, implement telemetry, and build feedback loops
- Establish testing, performance, accessibility, observability, and safe-release standards
- Standardize patterns and shared components across product squads
- Ensure RBAC, IAM, PII handling, auditability, and safe defaults in developer workflows
- Mentor senior engineers and raise engineering standards
