About the Role
You will set the design vision for key product areas and lead the design of complex, ambiguous problems into clear, elegant, scalable user experiences. You will evolve the design system and visual language, partner with product, engineering, and leadership on strategy and roadmap decisions, align cross-functional initiatives, mentor designers, use customer insights and experimentation to improve outcomes, and lead design critiques.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft and impact, particularly in mobile app experiences
- Ability to lead design direction for large, complex product areas and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Strong UX and visual design skills
- Advanced prototyping skills
- Experience influencing product strategy and cross-functional decision-making
- Systems thinking and experience evolving design systems at scale
- Ability to mentor designers
- Data-informed approach that balances user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Communication and storytelling skills for articulating and defending design decisions
- Understanding of human-centered design principles and research methods
