About the Role

You will own the robot production line from initial design through stable, repeatable operation. You will define manufacturing processes, fixtures, controls, metrics, and defect-resolution systems while partnering with hardware engineers and build technicians to improve assembly.

Requirements

• 9+ years in manufacturing, process, or production engineering for electromechanical hardware
• Experience standing up a new production line or new product introduction process
• Fixture and jig design judgment
• Fluency with DFM and DFA principles
• Experience with production-line data analysis and metrics
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• US work authorization

Responsibilities

• Architect the end-to-end build sequence and work instructions for the production line
• Define the fixture design philosophy for the line
• Link the build floor and hardware design and drive manufacturability alternatives to closure
• Run process FMEA on new and changed build steps
• Build root-cause and defect-closure systems
• Define production metrics infrastructure, run time studies, identify bottlenecks, and instrument the line
