About the Role
You will lead the design, validation, and deployment of test systems for critical components and subsystems. You will architect test software and interfaces, automate provisioning, create monitoring tools, conduct design reviews, validate harsh-environment performance, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related STEM degree
- 3+ years of software design and test-engineering experience, or equivalent advanced-degree experience
- Expertise in electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles for system test infrastructure
- Linux, Bash scripting, and networking experience
- Ability to configure and maintain small computer networks
- Ability to design, implement, and validate multidisciplinary test systems
- Experience driving projects from concept through execution
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, validation, and deployment of test systems for critical components and subsystems
- Architect test framework software and interfaces for power electronics, compute, and communication systems
- Build and maintain scalable test infrastructure and shared libraries
- Automate system provisioning and configuration management
- Develop real-time monitoring and data-visualization tools
- Lead and participate in design and code reviews
- Ensure appropriate requirements coverage in testing
- Drive cross-functional design reviews and design-for-testability improvements
- Validate performance through HASS, ESS, and HALT testing
- Mentor junior engineers
