About the Role

You will own an internal AI platform by architecting and writing production code, managing its roadmap, and keeping it reliable, secure, and easy to use. You will identify opportunities for AI leverage, shape stakeholder needs into technical plans, evaluate AI system quality and safety, and communicate technical direction through executive level discussions. You will also own cloud infrastructure and security controls.

Requirements

  • Staff-level engineering experience building and operating high-scale systems
  • Hands-on experience with modern AI systems
  • Experience with frontier-model APIs, multi-agent orchestration, RAG, CLIs, and MCP
  • Product ownership and proactive stakeholder communication
  • Experience building or operating model routing gateways
  • Experience routing inference based on cost, latency, capability, and data sensitivity
  • Experience measuring and improving AI systems
  • Experience with guardrails, least-privilege access, human-in-the-loop escalation, monitoring, and auditing
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and IaC
  • Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience in fintech, security, or custody environments
  • Experience with digital assets, blockchain, or Web3
