About the Role

You will develop and extend device software and firmware for photonic compute and interconnect products. You will define control-plane, diagnostic, and monitoring architectures; integrate data-center administration capabilities; debug embedded systems; and gather customer requirements.

Requirements

• BS with 8+ years of experience or MS with 6+ years of experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field
• Device driver and kernel-side development experience
• Hardware-software integration knowledge
• Knowledge of embedded-system communication, control, peripherals, and buses
• Experience developing commercial or enterprise software and firmware on Linux
• Experience with Git and CMake
• Experience designing, simulating, or deploying autonomous-system control
• Ability to comply with U.S. export control requirements

Responsibilities

• Define control-plane architecture for photonic interconnect products
• Define diagnostics and monitoring architecture for photonic transceivers
• Integrate data-center administration capabilities using CMIS, OpenBMC, and DMTF
• Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems using GDB, JTAG, and logic analyzers
• Participate in customer engagements to gather requirements and usability criteria
