About the Role

You will develop data strategies and lead high-impact workstreams to deliver actionable analytics for compliance. You will design ETL pipelines, validate source data, perform analysis, and create visualizations to communicate findings to regulators and internal partners. You will collaborate with legal, engineering, and product stakeholders to translate regulatory expectations into measurable program improvements, coach others on compliance analytics, and connect insights to operational change.

Requirements

  • 8+ years related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Compliance or AML experience
  • Expert-level SQL skills
  • Expert in ETL development
  • Expertise with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
  • Proven ability to solve large, complex problems without clear answers
  • Experience defining problems and managing projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication and data visualization skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Preferred: CAMS or other AML certification
  • Preferred: Experience in FinTech or consulting or with financial crimes compliance systems
  • Preferred: Experience with automation using Python, R, or Prefect

Responsibilities

  • Lead data strategy for regulatory engagements, including ETL development, source data validation, and analysis
  • Connect regulatory expectations and commitments to Compliance and Product roadmaps to influence strategy
  • Analyze raw data and communicate the impact of regulations, policies, or environmental changes
  • Collaborate with legal, engineering, and product partners to inform strategic builds of compliance program elements
  • Translate insights to action through clear written and verbal communication and visualization
  • Educate, coach, and influence stakeholders on compliance analytics and program effectiveness
  • Lead multiple high-impact workstreams and manage levels of abstraction across audiences
