About the Role
You will develop and deploy private and public cloud services for AI compute. You will operate and extend OpenStack-based services, automate deployments with infrastructure as code, improve observability, and validate and optimise hardware, servers, switches, and storage.
Requirements
- Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience operating on-premises or private-cloud environments
- Linux system administration
- Bash
- Python
- Infrastructure as code using Terraform, OpenTofu, Ansible, or Packer
- Cloud foundations including virtualisation, virtual networks, block storage, monitoring, and observability
- Git
- CI or testing pipelines
- Container tools
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy private and public cloud services for AI compute
- Operate and extend OpenStack-based services
- Automate deployments using infrastructure as code
- Improve observability across the fleet
- Benchmark, validate, and optimise systems across hardware, servers, switches, and storage
- Maintain critical infrastructure availability
- Help turn pre-release hardware and software into reliable cloud services
