About the Role
You will design and implement low latency backend services that process exchange activity in real time. You will profile systems across the stack build event driven pipelines and APIs operate production services diagnose incidents write postmortems and contribute to distributed systems architecture focused on correctness graceful degradation and recovery.
Requirements
- 7 or more years of professional backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Go Python or Java
- Deep understanding of algorithms data structures concurrency and memory management
- Experience building and debugging high throughput low latency Linux systems
- Strong correctness and defensive programming instincts
- Ability to work independently in a high autonomy environment
- Trading systems high frequency trading gaming or telecom experience is a plus
- Production experience with Kafka Pulsar or similar streaming platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with gRPC Protobuf or ZeroMQ is a plus
- Experience with AWS or GCP containers and modern deployment tooling is a plus
